Lochner’s Ana Miranda Presents at AAAE/ACC Airport Planning, Design & Construction Symposium
Aviation Designer Ana Miranda, based in Lochner’s Oklahoma City office, recently presented at the AAAE/ACC Airport Planning, Design & Construction Symposium in San Antonio, Texas.
The three-day event brought together more than 1,900 airport professionals and featured multiple aviation-focused tracks, including engineering, innovation, planning, project management/construction management, and airport terminal approaches.
As part of the innovation track, Ana participated in the session “Hyper-Personalization: Optimizing the Passenger Experience Across Traveler Needs & Preferences,” where she shared insights on wayfinding. Drawing on both the passenger perspective and Lochner’s expertise, Ana emphasized the importance of identifying airport user profiles, addressing the challenges of technological modernization, and implementing smarter, user-friendly solutions. She also highlighted the need for effective coordination among airports, airlines, stakeholders, and consultants—essential elements in creating a more personalized and accessible passenger experience.
Over the past year, Ana has actively participated in Lochner’s Women’s Group Mentorship Program and National Aviation Practice Mentorship Program, which connect mentees with experienced mentors to foster career growth and leadership development. Her engagement in these initiatives inspired her to seek new aviation networking opportunities, ultimately leading to her selection as a symposium speaker.
