
Scott Simmons Appointed Tallahassee Office Manager
Lochner is pleased to announce Scott Simmons, PE, has been appointed to the role of Office Manager for the Tallahassee office.
With nearly 20 years at Lochner, Scott has been an integral part of many projects from planning to construction and has served in a variety of design and management roles. On the Starke Bypass project in Bradford County, Florida, Scott served as the roadway lead for design of three miles of limited-access highway between US 301 and SR 100. As the project reached the 100 percent plan submittal milestone, Scott was appointed project manager and led the project through final design and construction support.
Scott has also taken opportunities to grow his leadership skills and honor his commitment to community service as board chairperson for Lochner Cares, the firm’s internal, independent IRS-registered 501(c)(3) charity. In this role, Scott has led and overseen the management of the charity’s operations, annual fundraisers, and distributions of emergency aid to employees. He has also led the efforts to refine and formalize key practices and policies to better support the charity.
