The Bike Boulevard provides a safer north-south bikeway connection from downtown Long Beach to the neighborhoods of Wrigley, Los Cerritos, Bixby Knolls, and North Long Beach,
Our California team conducted a feasibility study and prepared plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the project which brought traffic calming and multimodal improvements to the corridor through treatments such as roundabouts, mini traffic circles, pedestrian refuge islands, a traffic signal, bicycle detectors, and other greenway facilities. Our scope of work also included the design of four roundabouts.
