Our planning team has a long history supporting the Port of Long Beach (POLB) Transportation Planning Division. Over the years, we have evaluated transportation needs for goods movement; conducted transportation studies; provided traffic analysis support for the preparation and review of environmental documents; analyzed traffic impacts and coordinated roadway closures for Port projects under construction; and pursued and managed grant funding for capital projects.
Additionally, on an as-needed basis, we have provided transportation planning, safety analysis, speed surveys, data collection/management, traffic signal design, signing and striping plans, and roadway and intersection improvements, and have supported bike and pedestrian mobility, travel demand modeling/forecasting, and intelligent transportation systems initiatives.”
